Hollanddichtbij is a young and active company focused on the Dutch emigrants. We are married and we have two daughters of 7 and 9 years old. We sell Dutch product by our Webshop and send them to our customers. We are specialized in typical Dutch candies, also sugarfree and products without artificial pigment and gluten. We sell them in small quantities.
We started with two large candystores in the middle of The Netherlands. In these stores we sell a large range of cancy, chocolate, biscuits and articles related to Santaclaus, Sinterklaas, The Easter, marriage, birthdays and childbirth.
Our knowledge of the latest development and trends in our business we acquire by our shops.
This means that we can rely on our stock to deliver to our customers, we also have direct input from our customers in the stores. By this we know from our own experience how these products tastes, being used or being appreciated. This is how we come to the idea getting started with a webshop related to candy and Dutch products. Many of our customers in the shops take their products to their friends or family outside The Netherlands. By our webshop you are now able to profit directly from our extended assortment.
By this we move on from a familiytraditon from the early fifties. Our grandparents had a small grocery story on the island of Terschelling in a place called Hoorn. They sold the very known products which the people used in the old days. Many of you know these brands like Buisman, Douwe Egberts, Van Nelle, Van Balen, Sunlight etc. Some of these brands you still be able to buy in our shop.
